Montreal Junior Game
Many students and some teachers at Willingdon School were very fortunate to attend the Montreal Junior's hockey game on December 9th, 2009 at the Verdun Auditorium. They played against Les Saguenéens de Chicoutimi and won 3 to 2.
Forty children were selected from their homeroom teachers, based on the student's effort, good citizenship and academic achievement. They were given four tickets each, so that they could enjoy the game with their families. The students were recognized and given the tickets in an assembly held in November.
The auditorium was filled with many excited fans cheering on the Junior team. Congratulations to all students who worked very hard and who were recognized for their achievements. Hard works always pays off!! Well done.
