McGill's Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology will once again be hosting a public Effective Parenting lecture series in April 2019. The series will take place on Tuesday evenings from April 9-30. Speakers include:
- Dr. Marie Helene Pennestri - Sleep through the night: From expectations to reality
- Dr. Tina Montreuil - Moving from worry to mastery: Identifying parenting behaviors associated with childhood anxiety
- Dr. Gigi Luk - The science of bilingualism: Implications for your child's learning, development and education
- Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy - Understanding suicidal risk among children and adolescents
