Junior Robotics
In the LaurenHill Junior robotics club, students use Lego EV3 Mindstorm kits to build and program robots that can complete a variety of challenges. Throughout the year, students familiarize themselves with these robotics kits, designing, tweaking and testing how their creations perform in events such as drag racing, 2 vs.2 soccer, rope climbing and more. As a capstone to the year, students are invited to participate in the annual Robocup competition where their robots will go head-to-head with students from other schools.
