Honoré Mercier Visual Art Program

students

Every student at Honoré Mercier is a different and unique individual. The art program at our school plays a vital role in allowing these students to express themselves freely through various artistic media. From painting and collages to drawings and installations, our students explore diverse outlets to channel their creativity and appreciation for the arts. Art education is integrated into our curriculum from grades 1 through 6, where students are not only taught technical skills but are also encouraged to embrace their unique perspectives and creative instincts. Through this program, students gain an understanding of different art forms, study art history, and learn to appreciate famous works of art alongside their own creations and those of their peers. This holistic approach nurtures a lifelong love for art and self-expression among our students.
