Application Procedure

MIND is a public school within the EMSB. As enrollment is limited, we carefully select students who are most likely to benefit from our educational approach.

Please note:
Our Secondary 2 and 3 classes for the 2026–2027 school year are now full, and we are no longer accepting applications for these levels.

How to Apply

All applicants must complete the online application form and submit the required documents listed below. Applications that are missing documents cannot be processed.

Required Documents

  • Final report card from the previous school year
  • Most recent report card from the current school year
  • A portfolio of work, including:
    • Writing samples from English and French classes
    • One additional piece of work the student is proud of (school related or personal)
  • Applicant’s birth certificate
  • Certificate of English Language Eligibility (mandatory)

Please ensure that all file names include the student’s first and last name.

If you do not have a Certificate of Eligibility

In order to qualify for English Instruction in Quebec Public Schools, students must meet certain eligibility criteria under the Charter of the French Language as set out by the Quebec government.

When you come for your appointment, please bring the following documents:

  • Certificate of Eligibility
  • Student’s most recent report card
  • Your current address and phone numbers
  • Student’s Medicare card number and expiration date
