Montreal - Friday, May 3, 2019

The English Montreal School Board in collaboration with the Lester B. Pearson School Board are proud to announce a RAC Open House event.

You might ask yourself what is RAC?

RAC stands for the Recognition of Acquired Competencies which is a process that allows an individual with skills gained through life or work experience to obtain official recognition of their competencies in relation to a program of study.

  • Individuals have the right to recognition of their knowledge or competencies as long as they are able to provide proof of their abilities regardless of where, when or how it was acquired
  • Individuals should not have to redo any learning or experience they may already possess in a formal setting.

Drop by the AEVS Testing Centre (3030 rue Villeray) where you will have a chance to meet with an advisor who will explain how you can earn a diploma with your prior life or work experience.

  • Light snacks and refreshments will be available
  • Only a 5 minute walk from the St-Michel Metro
  • A raffle prize will be drawn at 8:00 p.m. - DON’T MISS IT!!!
