EMSB set for 2025 Expanded Open House Education and Career Fair

The 25th annual English Montreal School Board Education and Career Fair Open House, will be taking place in an expanded format on Wednesday, October 22, at the St. Pius X Career Centre in Ahuntsic (9955 Papineau Boulevard North). This event will run from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is free, and complimentary parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the rear lot off Sauriol Avenue.
This is a can’t-miss opportunity for students in Grades 9, 10, and 11 and their families. The Education and Career Fair is your one-stop shop for the future, bringing together a wide variety of post-secondary options—all in one convenient location.
In the plaza area, you’ll be able to explore programs and speak directly with representatives from CEGEPs, private institutions, vocational training centres, and universities.
Parents and guardians will also benefit by discovering tools and insights that make conversations about the future easier and more meaningful—helping your child identify the best path forward. Families who have attended in the past found this event invaluable for clarifying options, asking the right questions, and planning smarter for upcoming open houses.
To make the evening even more impactful, the EMSB will host two special information sessions in the auditorium at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. featuring live testimonials from vocational students and guidance counsellors to answer your questions. These sessions will give attendees a more personal, inside look at real experiences and career pathways.
Don’t miss this exciting event - it’s your chance to explore, connect, and get inspired about the future. The Student Services and Adult Education and Vocational Services (AEVS) Departments of the EMSB coordinate the program.
